Breakfast With Santa

For the past two mornings, I joined my fellow titleholders at Applebees for "Breakfast With Santa" which benefited the Staten Island Children's Campaign. The Staten Island Children's Campaign's mission is to raise funds to support a variety of educational, counseling, health, recreational, and other essential services for local children on the island. It benefits 17 organizations that provide a wide array of programs for Staten Island youth.

The girls and I had a great time walking around to the tables of families, taking pictures, and speaking to the children - though I think the kids were just eagerly awaiting Santa! Many of the little boys played shy, while the little girls stared in awe. It was great to see so many families coming out to support such a wonderful cause, though.

Tickets were $10 each, and all of the staff were volunteers! Applebees and the Staten Island Children's Campaign employees worked together to make this event a success. Alexa, Hannah, Stephanie, and I even got to tell Santa what we wanted for Christmas! : ]

It was a great two days, and it was wonderful to be able to connect with so many families. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, and I hope we raised a lot of money for this amazing organization!
